Default Money Question

What am I suppose to do with my gold. I already have armor and weapons for my chars. Spending it on expensive stuff(torment) isn't my style. Is the only other option to let it sit in storage?

You should fix up your Hall of Monuments. Buy destroyer weaps and soon they will add something for tormented weaps. This will actually help your game play in GW2.

You could also work on titles such as confectionaries, party, and drunkard. Iono just some ideas.

You might say you do not want nice things now but trust me eventually you will. The best thing to do with money is to use it to make more of it.

you have armor and weapons... but do you have all the skills for all your characters? After the first few, skills go for 1k each, and there are close to 150 skills for each of the core professions (less for the later profs). So, getting all primary and secondary skills for a character could cost close to 260k. Doing that for 4 characters would get you to a million easy.

Other than that, if you have nothing else to do with it, share it with those who still need to get armor and such.

There are a lot of ways to waste gold in GW.

You may have "armor and weapons" for your characters, but you can always buy them fancier armor - and several different sets. Cruise through the armor section on wiki and pick out what you like. Many of the armor sets mix&match.

You can always buy them more expensive weapons too. Like the armor, don't go for something just because it's expensive - buy something you like. If it happens to be cheap - oh well....

You could buy Z-keys and open the Zaishen chest. Chances are you won't get anything valuable anyway. And if you get something valuable, you can always keep it. If you get an everlasting tonic you can stand around town like the rest of the goofs, looking like a Golem or whatever.

Go for your Skill Hunter title. You will spend a lot of gold on capture signets.

Go for one of the idiot titles (drunkard, sweet tooth, party). You can waste lots of gold that way.

Buy lots of Ectos now, before the price goes down even further.

Etc.

This is not a GW2 thread, stick to the topic.

To the OP: You will need to buy skills for one. You just never know what will pop up that you want.

if you have the armor and weapons that you want and are one of those frugal types then I would hold onto it like a savings account ---for that time when there might be something that brings a twinkle to the eye and that 'must have' feeling.
If you want to spend it you could fill up your storage materials section...get ectos or armbraces...work on the silly titles that require only money (sweet tooth, party animal etc)....

depends on what you want to do with it.

Legendary skill hunter is a good start.

buy cap sigs and use em. at 1k each you should be broke soon enough.

if you still have gold after that, maybe get some lockpicks for treasure hunter/lucky/unlucky/wisdom title and go get some treasures

Stick it in your storage and leave it there till you need it. Just because you are satisfied with your weapons and armor now, doesn't mean you will always be.
